Sometimes called the creditor account debtor. This is the customer or other debtor of a factor’s client; this is the person or entity that owes money and from whom the factor is trying to collect. Example: Assume Bob performs auto repair work for Carol and bills her for $100 and then sells the receivable to Donna. In this relationship, Donna is the factor, Bob is the client and Carol is creditor account debtor.
